I obtained my PhD in marketing and consumer psychology from the University of Technology Sydney.  Since then I have taught at several universities, including the University of Southampton, Sydney University, the University of South Australia and Monash University. I specialise in Research Methods in the Social Sciences.

My research examines attention and perception in humans, particularly with regard to numerical skills. I do applied and theoretical work in this area.
